About this project

This project was made for my Creative Coding workshop class  where I learned how to create interactive art using coding. In this particular piece I created a fish illustration that was duplicated four times and animated on a computer screen laying flat. A clear plastic structure was placed on top of the screen reflecting the fish image on all sides in order to give a “hologram” effect. The interactive element to this project was based off of a IR distance sensor hooked up to the computer through an arduino. The sensor tracked the distance of any object in range and when someone would get close enough to the project a shark would pop up out of the “hologram” to attack the fish. If you were to get even closer the shark would eat the fish. The coding for this project was all done using Processing 3.
